Neurological Rehabilitation
Neurological conditions affect everyone differently. Our therapists carry out a detailed assessment in your home and develop a programme that targets your specific goals, whether that's getting back on your feet, improving your balance, or building confidence with everyday tasks.
Stroke Rehabilitation
Regaining movement, strength, and independence after stroke. Focused on functional recovery in your own environment.
Brain Injury Rehab
Structured rehabilitation following acquired brain injury, working with you and your family to maximise recovery.
Progressive Conditions
Ongoing physiotherapy for multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, and other progressive neurological conditions.
Balance and Falls Prevention
Targeted programmes to improve balance, reduce falls risk, and build confidence with mobility.
Neurological conditions don't just affect movement. They can affect sensation, perception, fatigue, and cognition. Our therapy programmes account for the whole picture, including sensory processing needs that are often overlooked in standard rehabilitation. We work closely with families and carers, providing education and strategies so that rehabilitation continues between sessions.

Our therapists are experienced in working with clients who may have sensory processing difficulties and/or a learning disability. We also liaise with your surgeon and GP to ensure your recovery stays on track.

Older Adults and Falls Prevention
Falls are not an inevitable part of getting older. With the right assessment and exercise programme, falls risk can be significantly reduced. Our physiotherapists carry out a comprehensive assessment in your home and build a programme around your specific risk factors, strength, balance, and confidence.
Individual Assessment
Comprehensive home-based assessment of falls risk factors, including strength, balance, medication review, home environment, vision, and footwear.
Otago Exercise Programme
Evidence-based exercise programme proven to reduce falls by 35%. Individually prescribed strength and balance exercises delivered at home.
Community Group Classes
Physiotherapist-led group exercise sessions for older adults in community settings. Strength, balance, and confidence in a supportive group environment.
Post-Fall Rehabilitation
Rebuilding confidence and mobility after a fall. Graded exercise to restore independence and reduce fear of falling.
Our programmes are based on the Otago Exercise Programme, which has been shown to reduce falls by 35% in community-dwelling older adults. NICE guideline NG249 (April 2025) recommends strength and balance training as the primary intervention for falls prevention in older people. For older adults with progressive neurological conditions such as Parkinson's or MS, we also draw on NICE NG252 (October 2025), which recommends ongoing access to rehabilitation rather than time-limited episodes of care.
Conditions we work with
Falls and Balance
Comprehensive assessment of falls risk factors and a targeted programme to rebuild strength, balance, and confidence.

Physiotherapy to help you stay active and independent, whether after illness, hospital admission, or a gradual decline.
Post-Hospital Deconditioning
Rebuilding strength and function after a hospital stay, when muscles weaken from being in bed.
Fear of Falling
Graded, supportive programmes to restore confidence with walking and daily activities.
Osteoporosis
Safe, weight-bearing exercise programmes to support bone health and reduce fracture risk.
Frailty
Structured exercise to slow decline, maintain independence, and improve quality of life.
